This adaptor allows a practice chanter bottom to fit into a bagpipe stock.
 
A practice chanter requires much less pressure to play compared to a pipe chanter. By corking the drone stocks (not included and can be purchased separately) and inserting a practice chanter using this adaptor, beginners can more easily focus on the technique of maintaining a constant sound.
